Eligibility requirements

1. The competition is open to all Australian residents who are 18 years or older.
2. Existing customers of Industrial Batteries Australia, as well as non-existing customers, are eligible to enter.
3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and associated agencies involved in this promotion are not eligible to enter.

Entry Requirements:

1. To enter the draw, participants must sign up through the competition form located on website www.industrialbatteries.com.au/team-18
2. Each participant can submit only one entry.

Competition Duration:

1. The competition starts on July 22nd, 2025, and closes at 4:59 PM AEST on July 24th 2025.
2. The winner will be announced on August 14, 2025

Prize Details:

1. The prize includes one (1) hot lap per adult in a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Supercar in Sydney at Eastern Creek Raceway in early 2026 (date confirmed when 2026 V8 Supercar Schedule is released), for two (2) adults with a professional Team 18 race car driver.
2. Pre-drive briefing is mandatory before the hot lap, the 2026 ride day safety video link will be provided by the Promoter.
3. Participants will be provided with FIA-approved fire-proof driver race suits, helmets, Hans devices, and gloves.
4. A USB video of the hot lap, including the speed travelled at each moment, will be provided.

Prize Validity

1. The hot laps are valid for use only in Early 2026, with a specific time and date confirmed when the 2026 V8 Supercar schedule is released. 
2. Prize is non-transferable

Winner Selection Process

1. The winner will be selected through a random draw.
2. The winner will be sent one (1) singular hot lap voucher for two people to be used on the nominated Ride Day at Sydney's Easter Creek Raceway.
3. The winner will be notified in writing within three (3) working days of the draw, and their name may be posted on the Promoter's social media (with their consent).
4. The winner must provide photographic proof of ID.
5. If the winner does not respond within 72 hours from the initial email, the Promoter reserves the right to assign the prize to another entrant.
6. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Disqualification Criteria

1. The winner must retain the original or a copy of their voucher to participate in the hot laps. Failure to produce the voucher when requested may result in the invalidation of the entrant's entry and forfeiture of any right to the prize.
2. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age, and place of residence) and disqualify any individual who has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
3. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion.
4. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
5. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

Date change

1. The Promoter does not own or control Sydney's Eastern Creek Raceway. Therefore, the event date is subject to change without notice by the venue owner, and the Promoter will endeavour to provide an alternative date should this situation arise.

Failure to give notice or un-attendance

1. In the event you do not attend the experience, or choose not to participate in your experience will result in your experience being unusable for any future date.

The Winner’s Voucher

1. The winner's voucher must be presented for redemption on the day of the experience, unless advised otherwise. 

2. The voucher is only valid for the day of the experience.

Transportation

Transportation to and from the Event will need to be facilitated by the Winner

Experience

The pictures provided in all marketing and promotional materials are for reference of the experience only.  The vehicle, settings and equipment may vary.

Hot Lap Lengths

The winner will partake in 1 hot lap and the experience will take approximately two hours to complete. This may be extended due to rain or change in track conditions.

Restrictions

1. Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
2. Due to cabin and seat restrictions, participants must be no taller than 180cm, weigh no more than 95kg and have a maximum 38 inch pant size.
3. You cannot complete any experiences if you are pregnant, under the influence of drugs or alcohol. As this experience involves increased heart rate and high G-forces, and some muscle jarring, we recommend you seek medical advice prior to participation if you have any health concerns.
4. Should you have a pre-existing health condition, please bring a letter from your treating medical practitioner stating that travelling at speeds up to 250 km/h will not impact said health condition.

Diverse Abilities

Individuals with disabilities, including speech or hearing impairments, mobility or sight challenges, and those with limitations or absence of limb function, are requested to inform the promoter before the ride day.

What to bring on the day

1. Participants must wear full-length pants and enclosed, appropriate shoes. No open-toed shoes, heels, or thongs are allowed.
2. Participants will be provided with an FIA approved fire-proof driver race suit and helmet, along with Hans device and gloves.
3. Participants must also bring a completed indemnity form before the experience commences.

Arrival on the day

1. The winner will need to arrive 45 minutes earlier than the allocated time for registration and suit fitting, ie: if your time slot is 11am, please arrive at 10:15am.
2. Please allow approx 2 hours for your experience.

Vehicles

Team 18 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Supercars have been designed for the on track experience.

Indemnity Form

The indemnity form providing your wilful participation must be completed. The winner is required to complete and provide the indemnity form before the day of the experience. The indemnity form will be sent to the winner with their voucher.

Weather

1. The experience is subject to weather conditions. Rain may cause delays and may result in the cancellation of the experience. If the weather does not improve for safe rides, the experience would roll over to the ride day in the next calendar year.
2. The Promoter is not liable for any costs, damages, additional travel, accommodation or any other costs incurred by the winner, their family and friends attending in relation to postponement or cancellation.

Liability

The Promoter has no liability for any damage or loss caused by any negligent omission or act of any service or third party. The Promoter has no liability for any act, default or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of any service provider. Where the Promoter’s liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the voucher provided.

Glossary

Voucher: A document that can be exchanged for goods or services, usually of a specific value or for a particular purpose.

Experience: An event, activity, or service that provides a memorable, unique,and enjoyable encounter.

Hot lap: A high-speed lap around a race track in a racing vehicle.

Indemnity form: A legal document that releases a person or entity from any liability or responsibility for injuries or damages that may occur during an activity.

Promoter: An individual or organisation that promotes, advertises, or organises an event, activity, or service. Industrial Batteries Australia is the promoter.

Liability: Legal responsibility for any harm, damage, or loss caused to another person or property.

Customer: An existing client trading with Industrial Batteries Australia Pty Ltd
